LOVE this time in our beautiful Kansas City! Truth be told, I am not a huge baseball fan (though do so LOVE a cold beer and people watching at ANY stadium) … however, I simply LOVE the energy, the excitement and the cohesion of friends and family, co-workers and strangers that the ROYALS ~ and it’s fans ~ are creating and experiencing. As my brother said, “we are Democrats and Republicans, KU and MU and K-State fans all cheering together”. True dat. The city feels united, we are on the same team, with our focus on supporting and celebrating with, and for, each other … and darn it, that feels gooood. What would it look (and feel) like if we took that focus and make it a part of our every days even after the bats are retired and the jerseys are cleaned after the World Series is over … just a thought.
SAAAAAAALE TIME! Hope y’all missed us as much as we missed you … and what a nice sale to come back to from our little hiatus!

and a pair of pillows embroidered with “naughty” and “nice” on them ~ buy one or buy both (heehee). And six boxed Furbys. I’d like to hear the story of how those were created. Don’t tell me you haven’t wondered who the brain child was behind that phenomena. It doesn’t keep me up at night, but yes, it perplexes me from time to time.
This home has a shared driveway … please note that when you pick up your large items, please have your items OUTSIDE before your (or your mover’s vehicle) pulls into the driveway so we can ‘keep ‘er movin’. And speaking of movers, here’s your friendly reminder that the Blue Tape Team does not move furniture ~ keeps us out of the Chiropractor’s office.
** BID process note: If you are called after the first day of a sale saying your bid was accepted on an item, you have :45 minutes after the second day opening (usually 8:45am on Tuesday since we open at 8am on the 2nd day) to pay for the item or it will be re-marked for sale. We have had several items not claimed so feel we need to make this necessary in the best interest of our homeowners … thank you for understanding 🙂
