WHEWWW, that was a fun sale last week, THANKS to all who came out to make it such a success!

Now THIS is a delightful sale in a darling (already sold!) ranch home.  I love furniture that feels like it tells a story and there’s a good selection of those at the sale:

There are many nice antique pieces, chests (including Baker and Kling), several hutches, mirrors, side tables, bed, desk and that sterling flatware set from the 1800s (!) … but will get to that in a minute …

Black leather loveseat, Mitchell Gold leather club chair, asian inspired storage chest, figurine wall table, three panel wood carved room divider panel, cedar chest …

Italian ornate beveled wall mirror, wood mirror with carved crest, a sturdy L-shaped desk that is as pretty as it is functional with stainless steel legs and a matching three drawer file cabinet …

Refectory table, set of six Nichols & Stone Windsor chairs (1 chair needs a spindle repair), wood spindle back bench, several antique chairs, wood and cream upholstered rocking chair …

An exceptional 4’ x 5’ large beveled wall mirror with cream frame and black fonts, full-size antique bed, a copper-brown sofa …

Dark wood dining table with  six upholstered seat chairs – 2 leaves and pads, wood coffee table with iron base, pair of outdoor wood chairs with cream pads, cream wing back chair …

Flat screen TV, TV stand, several NHT stereo pieces, China sets, antique quilt on display rod, 2 nice Taylor Made golf clubs, nice selection of books, 2 Kirby vacuums (one works well, together needs service) …

2 sets of Ralph Lauren drinkware (way awesome), and several other fancy sets of glassware, some other dishes and kitcheny stuff including an All-Clad roaster …

LOTS. OF. STERLING SILVER!  We have a beautiful extensive, 10 pc/12 place settings of sterling silver flatware set from the 1800s.  Who knew that you needed that many kinds of spoons and apparently I’m supposed to use a designated pickle fork to grab my Claussen instead of my fingers.  This massive Miss Manners set is sold as a set and comes with the red sleeves from which they came, complete with sewn on identification tabs.  We also have a good selection of other sterling silver, see pics …

A beeeautiful Paul de Longpre tri-fold mirror, Superman and Donald Duck old comic books, table top poker table, ski boots, men’s clothing …

Several nice prints including Churchhill Ettinger and RL Boyer, several pieces of Royal Worcester, DVDs, several older rugs, white Wellesly Wedgewood …

A really nice outdoor round table and four swivel chairs, TORO Recycler lawnmower, small dog crate, outdoor storage chest, folding outdoor lounge chair and a bunch of garage miscellaneous including yard tools …

Kenmore washer and electric dryer, Sauder-type desk with top hutch and matching file cabinet, outdoor umbrella and heavy iron umbrella stand, basic white refrigerator with top freezer, blower vac, storage bins, dolly …

4 Lionel trains in boxes and a big bin of Lionel trains and track, some costume jewelry,  children’s toys, stroller, infant swing, 2 Pack n’ Plays, 2 Shop Vacs, weight bench, decent selection of holiday decor including some BIG wreaths …

And a shelf gargoyle – and darn it if I didn’t get a picture of that cute little bugger.  Will do my best to get one in the next few days.  No promises.

** If you get to the sale home before we open, please put a line marker down starting at the front door.

** Maxim’ out to John Denver at max volume is an excellent environment in which to write an ad.

** Have the most excellent and awesome weekend ever!

Peaceout from the porch,
