Please respect the homeowner’s privacy before the sale, all items must be picked up by 2pm on Tuesday, cash is celebrated and checks accepted with a valid driver’s license and only with approval. And also please remember that if you bring in any bag/handbag or jacket, we reserve the right to look in it. It’s not a snoopy or Monte Hall looking for a kitchen sink thing ~ just keeping everyone on the honesty train. Appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
** for those who have not been to a Blue Tape Sale (or other sale), the unwritten rule regarding the line at the door is: if you get there before the sale starts, please leave some sort of marker (soda can, a pen, an unopened box of CheezIts (to give to us upon entry) ~ a small item to mark your place in line. At that time, you may go back to your car and hang, read the paper, sleep lalala, but may not leave the area or you’ll lose your spot in line. Know not where that rule started, but it did, and as my Camp Fire Girl leader used to say, “that’s the way the weenie wiggles”. Yes, she did.
