Oh my. It’s difficult to know where to begin. There is so much history in this home and such beautiful, thoughtful furnishings. A great deal of it embedded in Kansas history as the mother’s family were a significant part of founding our beloved Lawrence, and the father’s lineage includes Meriwether Lewis of the Lewis & Clark duo 🙂 And that’s just the tip o’ the historical iceberg. I have held a 3 pc Spode tea set that has been in the family for 7 generations and was used while entertaining George Washington in their Fredericksburg, Va home. The family is keeping it and offered it for display, but financially liablility-ly speaking, Blue Tape can’t back that baby so a posted photo will have to suffice 🙂 Yes, just that cool.
