Seriously. The fabulosity of this sale almost leaves me speechless … ok, so I hear y’all laughing, saying “as if” ~
And in this season of gratitude and giving, here’s a quick aside …
Giving The Basics. What began as a Mom helping another Mom and her family with personal hygiene products (because government assistance programs do not cover these essentials) has flourished into a community lifting non-profit that provides our schools, charities and churches life-changing and confidence building basics, called Giving The Basics. In our own KC backyard, some children stay at home from school and adults are unable to go to job interviews for lack of proper hygiene products. We will have a barrel at our Meyer Sale if you’d care to bring any one (or many!) of the following items: bar soap, deodorant, dental floss, tampons, pod laundry detergent or cleaning wipes (no liquids, please). Cash or check (made out to Giving The Basics) donations are accepted with Blue Tape Sales matching those up to $500. Thank you, in advance, for your consideration in participating!

Front door entry, nothing for sale in the backyard. If you get to the sale before the sale opens, place a ‘marker’ starting at the front door (soap? deodorant?) ~ you may go back to your car or hang with your fellow shoppers on the driveway but if you leave the area you will lose your place in line. That would be a bummer cuz this is a fantastic sale!
Dang, it’s difficult to wrap up this email – so final for the last one of 2015. ‘Twas a fantastic year of changes and challenges; new lives and lives well-lived passing on – meeting new friends and some letting go, fun and fascinating sales and people … always embracing that which brings peace.
As the picture says, “For all that has been – thanks. For all that shall be – yes.”
Peace to you and your families,
Nancy
